Controlled Evaluation of Copper-Silver Ionization in Eradicating Legionella Pneumophila from a Hospital Water Distribution System
This study, published in The Journal of Infectious Diseases in 1994, evaluated the success of copper-silver ionization in eliminating Legionella from a hospital contaminated with the bacteria on a short-term basis as well as its residual effects after the system was deliberately shut off.
