Orlando, FL – LiquiTech Environmental Solutions will be exhibiting sustainable water treatment solutions at the world’s largest gathering of healthcare engineers.
ASHE has more than 11,000 members and is the largest association devoted to optimizing the health care physical environment. As a trusted industry resource, ASHE is committed to their members, the facilities they build and maintain, and the patients they serve.
LiquiTech will be exhibiting at Booth #324 and educating Healthcare Engineers about the new ASHRAE Standard coming into effect this year. The goal of the new ASHRAE Standard 188 is to specify a Standard Practice for use by facility managers/owners to prevent legionellosis associated with building water systems. Legionellosis refers to two distinct clinical illnesses; Legionnaires Disease and Pontiac fever. The ASHRAE Standard aims to reduce the risk of these illnesses by developing a practice to identify the conditions in a building water system that can be made less favorable to growth and transmission of Legionella.
Choosing the right method of water treatment reduces risk of waterborne illness caused by Legionella. Stop by Booth #324 during the annual ASHE PDC Summit in Orlando, Florida this March to learn more about the benefits of secondary water treatment with copper silver ionization.
